It is impossible not to enjoy your time at Sfioro. There's so much space, so much style and the views are something else. Gaze out over the sea from the terrace, or relax in the infinity pool looking out over the azure blue sea and sky.
There is space for up to 10 guests, with five extremely comfortable double bedrooms. There's a games room for some fun, and the outdoor areas, including a stylish seating area, are perfection. You couldn't ask for more during your holiday in Sicily!
Outdoor living is at its best at Sfioro with views that you will never forget! Climb the steps from the car park area and reach a shady terrace with table and chairs that creates the ideal relaxed atmosphere for al fresco meals - especially with the great barbecue! Stylish wooden furniture and sunloungers deck the terrace that surrounds the incredible infinity pool with marvellous views out over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The villa also has an utterly gorgeous aperitivo area, next to the three bedrooms on a raised area, with comfy rattan sofa and swing seats - just perfect for watching the extraordinary sunsets.
The villa is divided into two parts. Enter into the main part of the house and you will find yourself in a simply stylish living room and kitchen with a guest bathroom and shower on the ground floor. Head downstairs and reach the games room - complete with table tennis and table football - as well as one ensuite double bedroom. The first floor is a large ensuite master bedroom, with access to a first floor roof terrace with fabulous views.
Cross the covered barbecue area and you will reach the second part of the property: three double bedrooms, all with phenomenal views out to sea through large floor-to-ceiling windows. These three bedrooms are on a slightly raised terrace, accessible via a few steps. Two of these bedrooms share a bathroom, whilst the third is more independent with its own ensuite.
Beaches
There are several amazing beaches close to Sfioro. Head to the coast and find something you love! San Gregorio is a wonderful choice for a carefree day by the sea. Capo d’Orlando has a large sandy beach with a buzzing atmosphere with many bars and restaurants and lidos. The “Tongue of Sand” at Marinello is a unique beach that has to be seen to be believed due to its unusual spit of sand that stretches out into the sea. Head east and you can visit famous Cefalù with its sandy beach, or Finale di Pollina.
Towns & Sights
Capo d’Orlando is close to the villa. This seaside town has become very popular with visitors thanks to the wealth of bars and restaurants. From here you can also take the ferry to the Aeolian Islands. Similarly, you can also visit the island from Milazzo, another small seaside town with a pretty centre. Messina is not far from the villa. Drive to the town and be wowed by its proximity to mainland Italy and admire the churches and piazzas. For beautiful nature, drive up to the Nebrodi Mountains where there are amazing woods and beautiful hiking trails.
Activities
Book a boat trip to the Aeolian Islands. You won’t regret setting sail to this beautiful archipelago where you can swim in crystal-clear water, and enjoy some delicious fresh fish on board. Another option is to arrange a tour of a winery. Taste the local wines and see how it is produced during a fun day out. You can also arrange a cook service or a cookery lesson in the villa. Learn how to make some fantastic Sicilian food and then enjoy a meal together. It’s a fun and tasty experience that everyone will love!
