Up to eight guests can stay at this spacious villa. The infinity pool has the best sea views around, looking out to the Aeolian Islands. There’s even a gym with high-quality equipment to keep your fitness plan going during your time away, as well as a sauna and a modern sensory shower for extra indulgence. The highlight of Reale’s outside area is without a doubt the magnificent infinity pool. This L-shaped swimming pool has a hydromassage area and offers views out to the sea and the Aeolian Islands. You’ll be mesmerised by the beauty of the islands glimmering in the distance. The pool’s length and shape let you get a great swim in every morning in the most picturesque surroundings imaginable. Near the pool there is a gazebo providing shade over a dining table with a BBQ nearby and an external sink. Al fresco meals are a dream to make in this area, and you’ll want to spend breakfast, lunch, and dinner here! There’s also an area with sunloungers that’s perfect for topping up your tan. For a moment of simply taking in those sea views out across the pool, Reale also has some outdoor chairs under a covered patio outside the living area that’s ideal for a shady moment or an aperitivo.
Near the main entrance of the villa is a small courtyard with a characteristic olive tree adding real Sicilian charm. To the back of the villa near the parking area – equipped with an electric car charging point – there is also another patio area with some chairs and also a larger-than-life chess set for some fun and games. The external area also has an outside shower to cool off on hot days.
Villa Reale is set over two floors, offering space, light, and exceptional style. Take the steps down into the courtyard and enter the villa directly into the bright and charming living area. This open-plan space is so light and airy thanks to the sliding floor-to-ceiling French windows on three sides that lead out to the terrace and pool area. The stylish seating area with a comfy sofa is separated from the dining area by a modern fireplace with two Smart T.V.s above it facing either side. The entire room is furnished with great taste and has beautifully Made in Italy designed pieces, as well as marble floors throughout. The full-equipped modern kitchen is also in this area, and includes a fantastic kitchen island with a breakfast bar. Just off the living area is a corridor that leads to a wonderful double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a double sink and a luxurious bath tub and shower. There is also a guest bathroom on this floor.
A beautiful staircase leads up to the first floor where there are three further double bedrooms. These three bedrooms all have access to a balcony with sea views, and each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with shower. Every bedroom at Reale also has a Smart T.V.
The ground floor of Reale has a second area separate from the main villa which is home to an outstanding gym area with exercise equipment, a sensory shower, and a sauna, as well as a guest bathroom, and laundry room. This wonderful area is great for fitness fanatics, and is only accessible French windows that lead directly to the terrace and pool area. Working out with those sea views is something else! There is also a secondary service kitchen that is close to the outside dining area that is a helpful addition for leisurely al fresco meals under the gazebo beside the pool. This secondary kitchen also can only be accessed from the outdoor areas of the villa.
Beaches
Capo d’Orlando’s beach has always attracted visitors and it is easy to see why. This long sandy beach has lidos with sunloungers as well as free areas, so you can choose how you want to spend your beach day. San Gregorio is another great choice nearby. Marinello has a unique beach unlike anything you have seen before. A strip of sand reaches out into the sea creating a magical environment with amazing views of the Aeolian Islands. If you get the chance, also try to visit the islands on a day trip and spend some time on their beautiful beaches.
Towns & Sights
The Nebrodi Mountain Range is close to the villa. Head up into the mountains, and walk through incredible woods and forests, enjoying the sea views, and amazing nature along the hiking trails. Capo d’Orlando on the coast is a fun beach town with a lively atmosphere. You’ll find all sorts of bars and restaurants here. Tindari is also worth visiting for its Sanctuary set above the coastline and small archaeology park. For a bigger town, make sure you stop off at Messina with its pretty churches and views of mainland Italy.
Activities
The luxurious environment at Reale is hard to leave, so make your stay at the villa even more special by booking a cook service and enjoy a delicious meal made by a local cook. You’ll be tempted by the views of the Aeolian Islands, so make sure you book a boat tour to the islands. Spend the day visiting the different islands, stopping off in pretty bays for swimming and enjoy wonderful fresh fish. Another fantastic option is to visit a local winery. There are some amazing wines in this part of Sicily, so it’s a great opportunity to learn more!
