A charming beachside property, with striking sea views, made up of two adjacent cottages, Penelope and Calipso, and a large shady garden with a great pool. Ideal for two families or two groups of friends who want to holiday together, whilst still maintaining some independence.
Dimore di Ulisse has it all. With its seaside location you can swim to your heart's content every day. There is so much space and style. Swim in the pool, play volley ball, enjoy views from the rooftop terrace, sunbathe in the garden. Guests will never want to leave this idyllic spot!
Dimore di Ulisse’s gardens are a lush haven of trees, shady spots, a fabulous pool and sea breezes. There are several furnished areas, with a mixture of outdoor tables, chairs and sunloungers. There's a circular gazebo, two outdoor showers and a lovely outdoor kitchen and barbecue. There is also a charming roof terrace with captivating views out to the sea. Both small houses have outdoor dining tables found under their verandas. There's also a volley ball court and you can also play table tennis. Walk through the garden gate and you will immediately find yourself on a sandy beach - perfect for an early morning swim!
Dimore di Ulisse is made up of two separate but adjacent cottages, Penelope and Calipso, each sleeping up to four guests.
Enter into the first cottage, Penelope, through French doors into an open-plan living area, with a fireplace, comfy seating area, dining table and well-appointed kitchen. A French door leads out onto the veranda that is ideal for al fresco meals. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, whilst the second bedroom - a double - has its own bathroom next door. This cottage has a beautiful furnished roof terrace, accessible from the outside, with great views over the Mediterranean Sea.
The second cottage, Calipso, has a bright and modern living area and a simple, pretty kitchen with a door leading out to the garden. It also has two bedrooms - one double, with an ensuite bathroom, and another double with its own separate bathroom with shower.
Beaches
With its seafront location, a beach holiday at Dimore di Ulisse is very easy. Porto Ulisse beach is just a few steps away, and Santa Maria del Focallo and Ciriga are also incredibly close. These beautiful beaches are a joy to discover. Watersports enthusiasts will love Pozzallo which is known for its wind surfing. Isola delle Correnti is a unique beach where two seas meet, whilst Vendicari Nature Reserve is a wild expanse of white sand and incredible nature. For fantastic lidos, make your way to Fontane Bianche.
Towns & Sights
South-east Sicily is a treasure trove of beautiful towns to visit. Ispica is closest to the villa and has all you need for a holiday. Most famously the Val di Noto is close by with its Baroque towns. Visit Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, and Noto and soak up the unique architecture seen in the palaces, piazzas, and churches. Marzamemi is a small fishing town with a gorgeous piazza that’s an ideal stop-off for lunch. Siracusa is slightly further away but is worth visit for its archaeology park, its gorgeous town centre, and its wonderful sea views.
Activities
A fun experience to enjoy in the villa is a cooking lesson, or even a fresh pasta-making lesson. You’ll be able to take the recipes home with you as a keepsake! The area also makes fantastic wines so a tasting is a great choice for a day out at a local winery. If you want to see the best sights then a private tour of Siracusa and Noto is exactly what you’re looking for. And nature lovers will be on cloud nine during a boat tour along south-east Sicily’s stunning coastline, stopping off at bays for a swim.

A late check-in is available between 9:00 pm and 12:00 am at an extra cost of € 100.
If you are more than an hour late for your pre-arranged check-in time (without informing the Local Manager) there will be a €100 fee to be paid at the villa.
Check-out: by 10:00 am
An early check-out is available between 4:00 am and 7:00 am at an extra cost of € 100.

The electricity usage included in the price is meant to avoid energy waste and to promote an eco friendly attitude.
The 250kwh is an amount calculated on an average use at full capacity.
The pool is open to guests from 4th May to 2nd November.
