Set in the Puglian countryside, a short drive from Ostuni, Oniro is a private villa comprising a Main House and a Guest House, accommodating up to 12 guests. Surrounded by spacious Mediterranean gardens, the property features an infinity pool, a wood-fired hot tub and plenty of outdoor living spaces, ideal for relaxing and spending time together with family or friends.
For an added touch of exclusivity, guests can enjoy a private wood-fired sauna and an adults-only gym equipped with Technogym equipment. These dedicated wellness facilities make it easy to combine exercise and relaxation while enjoying the peace and privacy of the villa.
Oniro stands out for its beautiful outdoor spaces, set within 1.5 hectares of Mediterranean gardens. The bamboo-covered veranda features a dining area and a comfortable lounge with sofas overlooking the infinity pool, complete with sun loungers, parasols and an outdoor shower.
Surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean greenery, the garden offers peaceful corners in which to unwind, including a large hammock and a private wood-fired hot tub, reached by a small path from the pool.
Another spacious outdoor area is dedicated to dining and entertainment, with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, gas and wood-fired barbecues, a wood-burning oven and a large dining table. Guests can also enjoy table tennis, a boules pitch and a projector screen for outdoor film nights during the summer.
For an added touch of relaxation, Oniro features a private wood-fired sauna, offering a peaceful retreat after a day exploring Ostuni and the surrounding Puglian countryside. A secluded space where guests can slow down, unwind and enjoy a moment of tranquillity at their own pace.
Main House
The Main House, renovated with a mix of rustic and modern styles, charms thanks to its beauty. The villa is set over two floors. There is a bright living area on the ground floor, with an open-plan kitchen, fireplace, and benches. It looks outside thanks to the large French doors on both sides of the villa. There are three double bedrooms that are accessed from the living area, all with air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms, and direct access outside. There are two further double bedrooms with air-conditioning on the lower floor. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a large shower, making it ideal for families with children.
Guest House
The Guest House - the old Lamia - has a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. Surrounded by the garden, it offers privacy and tranquility.
Oniro also features a private adults-only gym equipped with Technogym equipment. Designed for guests who wish to maintain their fitness routine while on holiday, this exclusive space offers the freedom to work out at their own pace in complete privacy.
Beaches
Oniro has a strategic position in the Puglian countryside, close to charming towns, but also beautiful beaches. Marina di Ostuni - a 20km stretch of coast - is 20 minutes’ away by car. Torre Pozzelle is one of the most famous areas, with alternating beaches, bays, and rocky coves. Don’t miss Torre Guaceto beach, with the nature reserve that surrounds it with sandy dunes and Mediterranean scrub brush. It’s like you are swimming in a natural swimming pool!
Towns & Sights
Ostuni, “The White City” is just a kew kilometres from the villa. This charming town with its whitewashed buildings and bustling streets, offers and incredible panoramic view over the Valle d’Itria and the sea. Don't miss Carovigno either. This ancient town has beautiful piazzas, narrow streets, and ancient monuments, including Castello Dentice di Frasso (named after the last nobleman who lived there). Ceglie Messapica is also unmissable thanks to its labyrinth of streets and courtyards, arches and palaces, with the Castello Ducale dominating the town.
Activities
It’s easy to enjoy a tour of the Valle d’Itria from villa Oniro, including Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello, and Cisternino, with just a half hours’ drive between the towns and the trulli in the countryside. Trying the gastronomic specialities of each town is also a must: try bombette in Cisternino, capocollo in Martina Franca, or the Puglian classic, orecchiette con le cime di rapa! Don’t forget the area’s wines; the area is famous for white wines including Verdena al Bianco d’Alessano.

Near The Villa
Brindisi is only a little more than half an hour from villa Oniro, and should definitely be visited. This vibrant town has an ancient history, and also is home to the closest airport. Heading north along the coast you will reach Monopoli, one of the most picturesque places in all Puglia.
